This year we headed down to the Manti Pageant over the weekend of June 24.. We had so much fun.
This is one of our traditions, one that we have done just the two of us and have done for going on 4 years now, we have such a good time. The past couple of years, we have just gone down to the pagent and drove back home that night, but this year we stayed for the weekend... oh my goodness, such a good choice! We had so much fun! We camped at Palisade State Park... have you ever been there? So Fun!!
we had a great time at the pageant as usual, and spent the next day paddle boating and soaking up some sun!! On our way home, we stopped in Moroni, home of Norbest Turkey :) a lot of Scott's family is actually from Moroni, so it was fun to drive around and see some old houses that belonged to his Family. We also got some yummy turkey to take home, it sure tasted great... but the smell at the turkey plant... just awful!! haha

We came back into Manti for Breakfast and to take some pictures of my most favorite temple!!
I love to see the temple.. we're going there someday :)

Manti and Sanpete County seem to just have a special place in our hearts :)
