May 6th... I am 23!
My Birthday was AWESOME!!!
I was pretty suprised for my birthday... I had mentioned to Scott it would be fun to get a dog to go with our new house... because that makes total sense right? New house.. so lets have a puppy to mark her territory all over the house.. :)
But really, she was the best present ever!!
She is a Dorkie.. or so we think.. (a dauchsand-yorkie) but the Vet thinks she has Chihauau in her..
my theory.. Mom was a Dauchsand and Dad was a Chorkie... so we basically have ourselves an adorable mutt!!
Here is Minnie as a puppy.. she was a whopping 1.2lbs when we first got her at 6 weeks
(we named her Minnie.. after much deliberation because she is little like a mouse and is a skinny minnie!)
This is Minnie sleeping next to my size 5 flip flop.. goodness she was tiny!
It was so cute, her head was so much heavier than her body, that she would start to tip forward while she was eating, like her back legs would come off the ground... she is starting to tip in this picture.
She loved to sleep alot as a puppy, now she has so much energy we can't get her to sit still worth nothin!! She's defintely a puppy in every sense of the word.. she loves to bite, poop and pee in the house, and run around and bark... but she really is a doll and is making huge progress!!
She is now almost 5lbs and just a little over 4 months old. She is our little baby!!
