Karter is now half way to a year! When did this all happen?! He is the sweetest boy and charms the heck out of everyone. He is now rolling all over the place and loves to inch worm on the back of his head, good thing he is blonde, you can't see his bald spot too bad. Speaking of hair... he finally is starting to grow some, we have noticed it has a hint of red... more blonde for sure, but you can see some red in there... not entirely sure where that came from...
Karter still sleeps through the night, has started sleeping on his tummy, which stresses the heck out of me, but the doctor says it's fine. he has battled a few more colds, but always seems to stay pretty chipper throughout. Eating lots of baby food, veggies & bananas are his favorite - still doesn't really care much for fruit.
He is learning to give hugs.. sort of, more like he just throws himself right at your face, but we will take indirect sloppy hugs any day! :)
He is definitely becoming more mobile and doesn't want to hold still while you cuddle him as much anymore, but he will snuggle right before bed and i soak up every single second of that. We curl up in his recliner (we are all about comfort at the Nunley house), he takes his bottle from me like it's the last one he will ever get (he means business with food) and drinks up and snuggles. Usually he falls asleep right before he finishes his bottle, so i will prop him up on my shoulder to burp and he just snuggles right in. about 99% of the time, I fall asleep with him for an hour or so, makes for a very poor sleep schedule, but i love these moments!
This boy is seriously the light of our lives, we love him so much! watching him grow up is seriously so rewarding, I want him to stay my little baby forever, but we seriously beam with pride when he learns something new! it's such a blessing to be a parent!
